CRYSTAL TREND

My four years’ experience in the forex market, I realize the major problem of traders is entry and exit.  A lot of trend trading techniques out there but you will agree that we have just few ways to filter entries and exits.

TO help traders out there I sort the permission of my company to let go one of our trading strategies for your review. Trust me, its profitable if you follow the rules.

INDICATORS:
-          BB_STOP default setting  (20 periods)
-          Stochastic 4,2,2
-          Fisher  50 periods
SETUP:
Apply the above indicators to your 4hour and 30min timeframes. The Direction of the BB_stop is our trend and the Fisher together with the Stochastic with multi-timeframe analysis will help for entry and exit.
When BB_Stop is SELL (for example) make sure the fisher histogram is falling (regardless the colour)  as the picture below.

Ones you spot this, move to the 30min timeframe make your entry when the stochastic is on or above the 80level for a SELL. Check the Picture below


Now follow your trade. Exit the trade only when Fisher histogram of the 4hour timeframe changes direction. Close at profit or loss. Remember your risk management.

    yes but it is best use in higher timeframe from 4hours and above. Please note that its very important to use it on higher timeframes only

    Hi, I am deeply sorry to bother you but I would like to ask you some questions about the Crystal trend strategy.

    1) When the stochastic is on or above the 80 level, do I have to wait for the 30 min candlestick to close in order to open my position?

    2) Does the same rule apply for long position but we wait for the stochastic to go down to 20?

    3) Regarding the exit atrategy for a short set up, when you say the Fisher indicator to change direction do you mean to change to green or just to increase?

    Q1) You can wait for the candle to close

    Q2) Yes same for long

    Q3) I dont mean to change colour but i mean to change histogram direction. When you are buying the histogram in 4hr must be rising but if at the close of 4hr it dropped then close. Another thing you must consider is your money management strategy like having a fixed stoploss or high stoploss but low lot size.

    You recommended 4,2,2 stoch setting on M30 tf but in the picture it shows 5,3,3. Which is the correct setting?

    yes u can use any you may not even use both, the idea is to stage an entry. if you have an entry strategy you can use but the more important thing is to ensure the trend as explained

    Thanks for sharing such a valuable information.Also, it is impossible to rate any trading system as good or bad over a short period of time.Mastering a trading system requires appreciable time (atleast 3 months).All trading systems have downtime.Sustainable trading performance is more of attitude than trading system.
